Day 01: Arrive Dharamshala / McLeod Ganj & Bhagsu Waterfall Sightseeing
Arrive at Dharamshala Bus Station, pick-up, and drop at your hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, leave for sightseeing covering McLeod Ganj Market, Dalai Lama Temple, also known as Little Lhasa, which has been the seat of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960.
Bhagsu Nag Temple and Waterfall – this is one of the most ancient temples and waterfalls dedicated to Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple every year. Bhagsu Waterfall is located 1 km from Bhagsu Temple, which can be covered by a short 15–20 minutes’ walk.
McLeod Ganj is the capital of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile. The Dalai Lama’s residence, as well as the headquarters of the Central Tibetan Administration (the Tibetan Government-in-Exile), are in Dharamshala. After completing the sightseeing, you will return to the hotel, and the rest of the day is at leisure.
